Village History
Mullan Mill and Village was built in the mid 19th Century as an integral part of the Mullan Linen Mills development. The village is built in the tradition of other Ulster mill villages. Up to the late 1970’s the village was a busy and bustling rural centre. All twenty-two houses in the village were occupied. There was a post office, shop and village hall. The village is now deserted and it is proposed by our Client to develop the entire site into a College of Excellence.'
